Spider-Man 2

Posted by admin | 1, Uncategorized | Tuesday 9 February 2010 6:00 AM

I was expecting my first viewing of Spiderman 2 and, in the words of Peter Parker’Oh Boy ‘I was not disappointed. It was much better than the original, for me, the three main young actors were as good as they were in the first movie, but have more room to grow. And, as one of my fellow armchair reviewers notes, this time have a Baddie much better to beat.

Maguire, Dunst and Franco are very watchable, and Molina as Dr. Octopus, is a terrible villain, intending to steal the heart in enough money to continue his experiments precious. A goal that, while not intentionally wrong in his thinking, it’s crazy because half would threaten the city of New York.

And the end is promising enough jokes and to whet the appetite for the third series. In general, things surprisingly terrrific, and good music too, as always, Danny Elfman.

But it is the central performance Maguire (who slapped on a bit, and actually hurt his back in the set), and stunning photography by Sam Raimi, who also steal the show.

The Hallelujah Trail

I remember seeing this years ago as a child, and I laughed until I cried. It still has the same effect on me. The film stars Burt Lancaster (cavalry commander) to be escorting a group of ladies led by Lee Remick Temperance across the plains.

Is also accompanied by 20 wagons of whiskey and champagne (owned by Brian Keith character) that are being delivered to Denver for the Teamsters in Ireland. In the mixture occurs The Hallelujah Trail a group of Indians (Native Americans), led by the head of five barrels (which just happens to be a real drinker), and his cousin leaned over Walking (Martin Landau - virutally who steals the whole movie), Hall of the owners of Denver, in an inspired by Donald Pleasance as Oracle Jones. Confusion ensues with hilarious consequences.

Burt Lancaster is brilliant in this film. A classic is a must, although no special effects! Great fun for the whole family.

White Noise

Posted by admin | 1, Uncategorized | Monday 8 February 2010 7:10 PM

This film I like horror movies from Hollywood that I have to admit, I’ve been a bit sniffy about the past. When a director is wrong you can see more clearly the skills that go into the making of good things.

The reason for poor results is that the manufacturers were not doing an original movie, images are copied from others. The scenes were filmed at a decent job, the motions without the structure or the spirit that would make them work.

First, to deal with the disappearance of the wife in a newsletter, for example, but the husband takes as neutral, as if it were an ad for cream cakes. In fact, the main character floats from scene to scene as flat and lifeless as a cartoon storyboard.

This is a pity because the original idea behind White Noise is good and there are some effective scenes of horror crash, but a good film, SA, evil together. I imagine it must be frustrating for many who worked on this film: despite its work, the final product is less successful in Hollywood and more made for television casings.

March Of The Penguins

Posted by admin | 1, Uncategorized | Monday 8 February 2010 3:45 PM

How on earth can anyone fail to be transfixed by this wonderful film escapes me. Some critics have said it is “too slow” - well, learn a little patience and let you subscribe to the ‘could be the acceleration to be good “school of thought. Some stories take time to develop and are best for a measured pace.

And as for those respondents who have been defeated because it bothers their children - Well, this is nature, teeth and claws, where things dont always end ‘Happy Ever After. “Endless joy If you are looking for you should have rented ‘Happy Feet’.

And that destroyed the narration of Morgan Freeman, and which attributes human emotions to the penguins - which means that animals dont feel the excitement? Why humans believe they are the only creatures on the planet who can? Presumably, these are the people whose religious beliefs are taught that animals Do not have a soul.

The cries of the mother penguins on the dead body of his girl who has strayed and has been caught in the storm were truly heart wrenching. This is a surprisingly wonderful film, deep, elegant and visually, did much better because it is a true story about some of the fascinating creatures that share this planet with blue and green ours. The earth isn’t a big Disney theme park, but a wild, beautiful and sometimes dangerous.

But, in all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, human greed and rapacity, is still a beautiful world and this movie proves it. Should be required viewing in every school in the country.

Superman Returns

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. It’s time he stopped renting the odd blockbuster.

Blcokbusters are rubbish. It is perhaps a case for viewing on the big screen, but I do not soulless Hollywood portfolios that make these movies for fat people.

This film is so poorly done that for long periods have no idea what is happening and why people act a certain way. Moreover, everything in this film is computer generated (more or less).

All games … all. And it is obvious.

The distribution can only be truly go out once or twice, and even then, obviously, is a gigantic array of the city “in a field of study. Sure, it looks like Superman flying, but obviously it was all so easy.

Sometimes he sees himself Superman computer generated. And there is no depth of each scene leads to a massive conspiracy movement.

Just try to get both in any case, there is a good sequence - where Lex Luthor causes a chain reaction of the catastrophe in his model railroad as a microcosm of what will happen in the rest of the film. But that’s all.

What The Bleep Do We Know!?

Posted by admin | 1, Uncategorized | Monday 8 February 2010 10:15 AM

First, it is a documentary, not a fiction film. I think it is unfortunate that so many people (which in most cases awaiting a drama movie without a brain), felt the need to give a review of stars.

It may be a bit cheesy in places and contains a large amount of pseudo-scientific theories, but What The Bleep Do We Know!? presents some interesting concepts and real scientific facts along the road. Mainly interviewed people are not crackpots new era, but are highly respected scientists, having published several books on the subject.

This is a surprising aspect of quantum physics and the consequences for daily life that anyone with half a brain and an open mind should enjoy.

Shadow Man

Note to the star of this mediocre action plodder! If you call the movie “Shadow Man” might be appropriate to make a hero that ill never trust slots without them knowing it’s there.

No, as is the case here, a hero who always draws attention to himself continually blowing things up, shooting and destroying local copper to a motor vehicle for extended car chases. By the Numbers revenge Action Segal, slightly better than some of their recent output (Mercenary for Justice, Into the Sun). It never ceases to amaze me the complete lack of continuity in their movies in the afternoon.

Not to mention unnecessary exposure and to simply direct the lines of the plot to another excuse to visit laughable line or producing a nude woman average age of the star. That said, there is a kind of guilty pleasure to sit down with Mr. Segal, for 90 minutes and collect all the pieces.

Less Than Zero

Posted by admin | 1, Uncategorized | Monday 8 February 2010 3:48 AM

Less Than Zero Given the quality of the future adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis American Psycho and The Rules of Attraction, was less than zero disappointment. This really nothing more than a mild 80’s Brat Pack movie. It’s a social commentary, like much of Ellis’s work, but if there is any background or backdrop in the book (I have not read), this was lost in the film. For me, the highlight was the performance by Robert Downey Jr., a descent into addiction-Sun

Given its own struggle with drugs and rehabilitation of this seemed almost surreal, and I asked the question which came first.
